KBC Networks, manufacturer of industrial transmission equipment for security and surveillance systems, will be returning to Intersec, Dubai, 15-17th January 2013, with a series of secure, wireless and IP transmission solutions that are ideal for high temperature and non-conditioned environments.

KBC Networks will be on stand S2-615C, promoting its growing range of 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 4.9GHz (public safety band) wireless solutions. Included in the product series is the WESII unit, which when teamed up with an Ethernet switch, will allow users to transmit up to 7 camera signals over a single wireless link. As well as point-to-point systems, KBC’s wireless products are suitable for point-to-multipoint and redundant ring wireless networks, delivering secure and stable transmission at throughputs of up to 99Mbps. With setup tools for site survey, antenna alignment and graphical mapping, the WESII and MeshII wireless ranges are designed to make installation faster and easier.

Following the success of the ThruLink™ product in a number of government, telecoms and police projects throughout the USA, Europe and Asia, KBC will demonstrating how users can use the device to stream live video and data securely over fixed and mobile networks in applications such as public security, mobile surveillance and intelligent transport systems.

The transmission provider will also be presenting its industrially-rated media converters and Ethernet switches. With PoE and non-PoE units available, the IP range is ideal for fence-line security systems and CCTV networks.

Managing Director Iain Deuchars, commented,

“We always look forward to Intersec – having been involved in some of the region’s most prestigious projects, the show gives us a great opportunity to strengthen and build on our existing relationships, and to meet new customers from across the Middle East. This year our focus is on our wireless and IP ranges and we’ll be demonstrating how end users and integrators can benefit from the protection of a stable and secure communications system.”
