ASSA ABLOY Access Control and HID Global will be representing the latest news and views of the security sector at a dedicated seminar, held at the prestigious Wallace Collection in central London on Monday 12th September 2011.

The event, starting at 3pm, will offer key insights into the latest trends within the security industry alongside specific considerations for securing the museum sector and financial services markets across the UK and Europe.

Included in the programme are keynote addresses from leading security experts and end users, including Mark Abbott, Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, and Ian Frazer, Vice President, EMEA Regional Head Security Technology at Credit Suisses Securities (Europe) Ltd.

Head of Security at the Wallace Collection, John Power will also be discussing the issues surrounding security within the museum sector and specifically, sourcing products and services to protect one of Europe’s finest collections of works of art, paintings, furniture, arms, armour and porcelain.

As leading specialists in wireless locking solutions and security, ASSA ABLOY Access Control and HID Global will be demonstrating how latest access control innovations can meet the needs of specific security requirements, with a panel discussion planned to invite end user feedback.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the impressive location, with guided tours organised at the Wallace Collection and through the conservation department, which has already utilised ASSA ABLOY Access Control’s Aperio™ locking solution.

The event will conclude with a seated dinner in the Lower Courtyard, hosted by ASSA ABLOY Access Control and HID, and is expected to close by 9.30pm.

Says Matt Thomas, Managing Director ASSA ABLOY Access Control: “This inaugural seminar is our chance to present up to date industry developments in a structured and comprehensive manner.  It was also an opportunity to highlight the importance of ensuring the right security solutions are selected in the right sector.

“We hope guests will find the day insightful and even enjoyable, especially with the level of expertise amongst the keynote speakers present at the renowned Wallace Collection.  We also anticipate some worthwhile feedback from our panel discussions to ensure we continue to deliver high quality locking solutions that meet the exact needs of end users.”
