MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.  — Based on its recent analysis of the perimeter intrusion detection systems market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes Optex Inc. with the 2010 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Market Penetration Leadership of the Year. As every customer is unique in their security, safety and site management requirements, Optex solutions leverage unique home-grown leading-edge technologies such as the RedScan RLS 3060 laser scan detector as well as third-party products with partners such as Inovonics, for specific client needs. As a result, Optex held a significant market share of 9.5% in the world perimeter intrusion detection systems market in 2010. By end of 2011, it is expected to reach 10.7% market share.
