Paxton in Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200

Paxton, the UK market leader of electronic IP access control and door entry equipment, has ranked 175th in the Sunday Times International Track 200. The award ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts.

The list is sponsored by HSBC and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events company.

Founded in 1985 by Tony Ratcliffe, now Group Chairman, Paxton employs over 275 people and operates mainly from its head office in Brighton, East Sussex, with several international sales offices. All products are manufactured locally at the Paxton factory in Eastbourne and exported to over 40 countries worldwide.

The company continue to enjoy significant international expansion with local teams in the US, Benelux region, Germany, South Africa, France and UAE. Paxton invest significantly in the free training and education of its installers across the world to ensure its products are sold and installed with confidence. Products are adapted to cater for the regional differences called for in the global market, and have simplicity designed in to ensure they are easy to install use and maintain. All purchases are backed by the company’s localised industry-leading technical support.

Future plans include the company’s ambitious goal of a £100million turnover by 2020, representing a 24% growth rate per year.

“We are delighted to rank in the Sunday Times International Track 200 as one of the 29 fastest growing companies in the South East. It’s an exciting time to be part of the Paxton journey, we have evolved from a predominantly UK focused company to a truly global business.” says Adam Stroud, CEO of the Paxton Group.
Our ranking of 175 in the Track 200 highlights our strong international presence and growth in the global security market. This confirms that Paxton are headed in the right direction and I look forward to the future and everything we have in store.”
