Asgard

Asgard Managing Director, Nick Hewitt said: “Our 118,000 sq. ft production facility is currently undergoing significant multi-million-pound investment to facilitate our growth plans. This year we have invested over £1m in Laser and Bender technologies with further investment to follow. As a result, Flexiform has been listed in the Business Desktop 50 fastest-growing companies across the Leeds City Region.

“Not only will this investment strategy increase local employment, it will also allow us to grow and build on our reputation as key Northern manufacturers.”

Secured by Design Development Officer Alfie Hosker said: “This clearly shows the ethos of Asgard Secure Steel Storage and demonstrates their commitment to not only producing a fantastic range of Police Preferred Specification accredited sheds, garages and storage units, but their drive to promote and assist in the development of a strong economic base across the North and beyond by being an integral part of the government’s Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme.

“Whilst there is no doubt that this is of great value to businesses across the North, it will also assist in supporting our local communities. I wish them every success with this!”

Asgard Secure Steel Storage is a division of Flexiform Business Furniture Limited, a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of steel storage systems for almost 40 years – and one of only 6 GPS (Government Procurement Services) appointed companies in the UK. The company’s manufacturing facility started off in Leeds, however constant growth necessitated a move to Bradford, ensuring their northern roots were maintained.

Asgard draw on a wealth of metal fabrication experience, with a long history of engineering and manufacturing excellence. They design and manufacture a range of metal sheds, bike storage and motorcycle storage of the highest quality, designed to give the strength and security required for professional level use.
