IFSEC, the world’s leading annual security event, has launched an independent educational centre in conjunction with Tavcom Training.  Taking place from the 16 -19 May 2011 at the NEC Birmingham UK, visitors from all disciplines within the security market can expect to indulge in exceptional educational content and engage with key decision makers and industry experts at this premier industry event.

Aimed at everyone involved in the security sector, the Tavcom Training Theatre will help security professionals fully understand the meaning of IP, including its benefits and limitations, in an educational, yet informal manner.

During the informative, practical sessions, visitors are encouraged to ask questions and engage with independent specialists without any pressure.

The Tavcom Training sessions include:

Bringing IP down to earth – What is IP and what can it do for your business?

Bringing you up to date with legislation – Learn about the latest advances in intruder alarms and access control regulations, plus the legislation and standards that have been introduced to improve the industry.

Gathering video evidence – This session will demonstrate how to ensure that CCTV images captured will be fit for purpose.  There will also be the opportunity to gain hands on experience on the set up of parameters.

Drop in and meet the experts – Gain Independent advice from a Tavcom specialist and industry independent experts throughout the day, free of charge.  If you feel that you would like Megapixel, IP or HD technologies or legislation revolving around the security systems sphere explained to help you in your day to day job, drop in and meet the experts on the education stand.

James Blue, Director of Fire & Security at UBM Live, organisers of IFSEC 2011, says: “Tavcom Training and IFSEC have combined forces this year to ensure that everyone involved in the security sector is fully up to speed on IP technology and what it can do for their business and the security industry as a whole.  The Tavcom Training Centre will appeal to those who want to gain insights into IP solutions in a friendly, informal, atmosphere.”
