TDSi has opened a new office in Cannock, West Midlands, to support its customers in the North and Midlands of the UK.

The new office, which is based at the Keys Business Village in Hednesford is designed to offer a more convenient location from which to provide services to clients that are further away from its headquarters at Poole on the South Coast.

The Cannock office is well situated, close to the M6 motorway for the North of England and Birmingham is just 20 miles to the south.

John Davies, Managing Director of TDSi, said, “Opening a new office is great news for our clients but also demonstrates the breadth of TDSi’s expansion in the security market. With a number of our sales and support teams already working for clients right across the country, operating well away from our Poole base, we felt the time was right to open a new office that offers support at a more local level. The new Cannock office provides customers that are further away from the Southern UK region with easier access to support and makes it simpler, from a logistical point of view, for our team. Whilst like all businesses we are embracing remote working, the very nature of our products and services means we need our expert teams available for rapid deployment wherever they are needed. ”

The new office is already seeing growth in the team with the recent appointment of Technical Support Engineer Jason Wakefield, who is supporting TDSi’s Midlands and Northern sales teams and customers, providing localised technical support and customer training. TDSi offers a comprehensive range of both physical security systems and software-based integrated solutions that cater for all sizes of organisation, selling exclusively through its network of installation partners. The Cannock office provides installers in the region with an easy point of contact for both technical and sales support.

The new Cannock office joins TDSi’s other sites which include the TDSi France office in Noisey le Grand near Paris, TDSi China’s office in Shenzhen and the main headquarters in Poole, Dorset. The new office follows impressive financial performance by the company and has provided further impetuous for the expansion. Sales figures show a nearly 10 per cent lead on the expected target for the first half of the financial year 2012/2013.

The practical benefits are very clear, as Davies added: “With the high level of integration, our range of security solutions are working with a wider spread of different services at end-user sites than ever before. Being able to rapidly dispatch our expert teams across the Midlands and Northern UK, means we can directly support our installation partners on-site, wherever they are required.”
