Visit Stand E30, Hall 4 for a demonstration of the benefits of using a highly secure, easy to use integrated access solution

TDSi, a global leader in access control systems for all sizes of businesses and organisations will be demonstrating its new facial recognition reader at IFSEC 2011. On Stand E30, in Hall 4 of the NEC Birmingham, between 16th and 19th May, TDSi will also be showcasing the EXgarde access and integrated security systems management software, VUgarde IP digital video surveillance solution, MICROgarde networkable controller product and SOLOgarde stand-alone access control system.

TDSi will demonstrate how businesses and organisations can use Facial Recognition as a highly secure, rapid and reliable method of controlling access to sensitive or restricted areas, without the need for traditional security cards or tokens. The company will also show how the system can easily be added to existing or planned security and surveillance systems to maximise return on investment.

TDSi Managing Director, John Davies comments: “Facial Recognition really raises the bar with regards to access control as it provides one of the highest levels of security whilst making the process simpler, faster and more convenient for the user. The reader can store up to 500 users and can verify a user in less than one second. It is also highly reliable, operating in virtually all light conditions and has a False Acceptance Rate (FAR) of less than 0.0001%, whilst maintaining stringent access control.”

Along with the new Facial Recognition product, TDSi will be demonstrating its other key products under the theme of integration and ease of installation and use. TDSi’s EXgarde flagship access management software application can be used to seamlessly integrate the many aspects of a security and building management system using a single database and a single user interface.

The VUgarde product uses client server architecture to grant full control of live and recorded surveillance video and alarm management, making it easy to use and hugely effective, whilst integrating with preferred hardware. MICROgarde is TDSi’s entry-level network controller product that uses Microsoft Windows-based software to provide a network of up to 200 controllers to control access doors around a designated facility. When used in conjunction with EXgarde, the MICROgarde controller can be used to integrate with other systems such as CCTV, biometrics and photo ID badges as a fully co-ordinated network.

Also being demonstrated is TDSi’s SOLOgarde stand-alone access control system which controls a single door and can accommodate for up to 1,000 users. This is particularly useful where it is not possible to install a network and offers a highly cost-effective and secure option.

TDSi Managing Director, John Davies and Product Manager, Duncan Gooch, will be available for one to one press briefings and product demonstrations throughout IFSEC. Please contact the press office on 01962 888100 or email tdsi@mccint.com to schedule a briefing.
