Hanwha Techwin Europe, subsidiary of Hanwha Corporation, describes how its investment in AI technology and cyber security places them front and centre in the industry

Hanwha Techwin Europe is a subsidiary of Hanwha Corporation, one of the largest business conglomerates based in South Korea. Hanwha Techwin offers total security solutions which encompass network and analogue cameras, recording solutions, video management software and compression technology. Hanwha Techwin has consolidated its leadership position in security solutions by building self-developed SoC chipsets, along with the optical, manufacturing and image-processing technology accumulated over 30 years.

Formerly Samsung Techwin Europe, Hanwha Techwin offers robust and reliable video surveillance products designed to meet the current and future needs of security professionals. Our cameras, video recorders and other IP network devices are built to exacting standards which reflect the heritage of precision engineering associated with the Samsung brand.

Hanwha Techwin Europe has been among the first to recognise the value of providing end-users with the option to run software solutions such as video analytics at the edge i.e. within the camera. One of the keys strengths of our Open Platform chipsets, which are at the heart of our latest generation of high definition cameras, is that it provides customers with complete freedom to choose the perfect combination of software Applications, as well as VMS (video management software), to best match their individual operational requirements.

Offering ‘Best in Class’ products is only part of the process of delivering a complete video surveillance solution; every one of Hanwha Techwin Europe’s products, many of which have been highly rated in independent product tests, is backed-up by unbeatable pre and post-sales support. Training is at the heart of a range of support services which also includes system design, technical support and a full three-year warranty.

Hanwha Techwin is preparing for the future by continuing to invest in AI technology and cyber security in order to provide intelligent and secure solutions to customers. Under its Wisenet brand, Hanwha Techwin will strive to deliver security solutions which customers can trust.
